Gangubai Kathiawadi collected well on the last day of the week with around 5.25-5.50 crore nett for a 66.50 crore nett for week one total. There was a drop on the last day of the week which was a little more than the days before but it still remains at a good level.

The first week collections of the film are pretty much similar to 83 though that film lost around 3.50 crore in the North due to cinema closures but it also had Xmas week and was a far bigger film. The film also has the second highest first week ever for a female driven film behind Tanu Weds Manu Returns which did 69 crore nett. But there is a difference between that time and today as the market is coming out of a rough two years and it will take a liitle bit of time before all circuits start to perform as before the pandemic. No doubt some circuits are there but others are stll short.

Gangubai Kathiawadi will show jumps again over the weekend but it is the second Friday number which is crucial as huge jumps from 4 crore nett as compared to lets say 3 crore nett make a major difference to the second week total. The business of Gangubai Kathiawadi till date is as follows.
