Gangubai Kathiawadi is heading towards the 200 crore mark worldwide as it scores equally well overseas as in India. The film has crossed the $5.5 mark in overseas and is looking to settle at around $5.75 million after two weeks.

The film is being driven by US / Canada which will be $2.5 million after two weeks. Gulf has also sustained well with collections now crossing $1 million despite not being released in a couple of countries and a slow start in UAE. The United Kingdom is at £500k plus and it may well become the biggest Hindi film here post the pandemic.

A $7 million number in overseas markets looks there for the film as the drop in second week is only 45% and even if there is a bigger drop in week three it will still get there. It will probably finish in the 55 crore range overseas so a 120 cr nett finish in India will mean 200 crore worldwide.

The second week is looking to close at around 162-163 crore. Sooryavanshi grossed 297 crore worldwiide while 83 (Hindi) did 187 crore. The top Alia Bhatt film worldwide is surprisingly Gully Boy at 230 crore but that is because there are no films with the bigger male stars.
