Uunchai had a little uptick in collections on Tuesday and there was a chance of this as the collections had fallen quite on Monday from its Friday numbers. The film collected around 65 lakhs nett which takes the film to 23 crore nett in twelve days

The two week business of the film will be over 24 crore nett. The second week looks to be showing a drop of around 45% which is very good in normal circumstances but the trend had to be even better for this film due to the low collections. The third Friday will determine if the film can get to 30 crore nett or not. 

The performance of Uunchai can be called respectable rather than successful as it has basically trended well for ten days on low collections. The film does have a heavy budget of 75 cr apprx but that was never a problem as the recovery from satellite, digital and music was around 70 crore due to the director Sooraj Barjatya track record. The business of Uunchai till date is as follows
