Kuttey remained dull on its second day with collections in the 1.20 crore nett range which is growth of only 20% which takes the collections to 2.20 crore nett. The sad scenario is that it is being beaten by a very ordinary mass south film Varisu which has nothing really going for it in the Hindi circuits in terms or look or face value.

But what it probably does is has some of the elements of action, emotions and romance while Kuttey has nothing and is one of those so called Hindi content films ut this content is only in the eyes of a certain section of the industry and critics. The wake call is that bad looking South films when they have the commercial elements are getting better collections than so called Hindi content films with stars from the press.

The collections in Gujarat / Saurastra of Kuttey are around 5-6  times less than Varisu (Hindi). The circuit is family dominated as Varisu being a family drama benefited from the holiday while Kuttey is a film that families do not go anywhere near. the two day collections of Kuttey are as follows.
