Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is heading for a moderate Monday in the range of 5.25 crore nett. The trend is decent as its looking at a 40% drop from Friday but the issue is Friday was a low number as non Holi areas suffered post release till Saturday. Basically the drop is reasonable so it can hang around cinemas for the next few weeks.

The fear for this film would have been a disaster like 83 with mega losses and if India dropped 50% or more there would be huge losses, maybe not to the extent of 83 but the run box office run of the film would have ended quickly and satellite rate is also pegged on the final box office collections in India. The film will still suffer but with the change in audience tastes post pandemic you have to take the hit knowing it could have even worse.

There will be pockets in mass markets that will hold up on Monday, more so as its Monday and markets are shut at certain places but eventually the only way is down here. The multiplexes will run to decent level in big cities but they had to be good for the film really work. 

The collections till date after six days will be around 65 crore nett and its probably heading for an extended first week of 77-78 crore nett which are fair numbers considering the box office scenario at the moment where films struggle to even last for a week. It film either needed higher weekend numbers but when they did not come the hold had to be better than decent.
