Bholaa has taken a fair opening across mass pockets (except Maharashtra) and it is the contribution from these areas that will give it a chance for a first day number which can be double digits or near. The response to the film in Mumbai city, Delhi NCR (bigger cinemas) and South is weak despite it being a holiday for Ram Navami

The opening of the film geographically is very similar to Samraat Prithviraj released last year though that came without the holiday boost on a normal Friday release. The best openings for the film are in UP and Ci especially the single screens. The UP barometer for singles in Agra was over 1 lakh nett for noon shows which has only been done by a few films. The last 6-8 months is Pathaan and Ram Setu only.

Coming back to Bholaa its looking a 9-10 crore nett opening day thanks to a better performance in mass pockets where it is a holiday and its going to be about where this film recahes on Sunday. The ramadan period is also not th best for a film which is more the mass pockets and that can hold back the numbers.
