Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani is set to show very strong growth on Saturday as collections may well go towards the 15-16 crore nett mark and growth which could come out in the 50% range The jump on Saturday will probably be the biggest for a major release post the pandemic. The growth could have been more outside the bigger multiplexes as they were much lower on day one but you take this big growth with the target audience

The first day of the film was lower than it needed but due to the hero and music factor it was never going to be much higher than 10 crore nett and now the film has got the required jump on day two and a 15 crore nett plus numbers will also be a good collection. There have not been many films to go over 15 crore nett post pandemic in a single day and here things can get better on Sunday.

The two day numbers of the film will be a healthy 26 crore nett but due to the big budget of the film there is a long way to go. The areas outside these bigger multiplexes have to really come in play on Sunday because if they dont then that will be it for them. 

The Saturday numbers in Delhi city, Gurgaon and Noida are very good on Saturday and far better than Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar on any day and the film is scoring very well in these markets. Delhi city itself will be clocking up almost 2 crore nett on day two. The film also has some support from Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai city though the latter could be even better.

The long term story for the film will be Gujarat and Punjab as these markets have to do better as one is family dominated and the other multiplex dominated where a film of this flavour should do well. Both markets have jumped well on Saturday but the collections are not what they should be.
