Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani showed very good growth on Saturday as collections jumped almost 50% as the film collected 15.50 crore nett on Saturday giving it a healthy two day total of 26 crore nett. The growth is 30-40% in mass cnetres while bigger centres are around 50-60%.

The numbers are still low in terms of the costs of the film but there is a good trend which gives the film a chance to run in the long run though a lot depends on what happen on the weekdays and after. The core Hindi circuits have to show big jumps today if the film is to have much of a run in them. Gujarat / Saurashtra had a good jump on Saturday as collections went to 1 crore nett but this should hae been the day one number.

The better numbers are from Delhi city, Gurgaon, Noida and Bangalore and all these are doing good business whether in terms of trend or actual collections. The Delhi / UP circuit is doing well without much of a contribution from UP centres outside Noida and Lucknow. Mysore is also doing good numbers for the film. Basically the trajectory is positive for the film which was a must for Saturday and now its about where it can go from here.
