Jawan saw another huge day as it collected an insane 46 crore nett on its second day. This is coming of a partial holiday like Janmashtami and a normal day and still the film is well above 40 crore nett. This takes the two day number of the film to crazy 111 crore nett and its an easy record for the weekend and maybe even a 175 crore nett total for 3 days.

The holds are fantastic all over with drops in the 25-30% range depending on the circuit and it would have been great even if the film had dropped 35% plus but these holds are simply superb. The film is still strongest in South and East but some of the other circuits have shown lesser drops which is good for the long run.

There is a good chance the film could go back up to the first day level on Saturday though a lot depends on the mass circuits. If the mass circuits like CI and Rajasthan go back up to day one levels then that ensures good holds post the extended weekend. There is a cricket match on Sunday with India v Pak but there are monsoons in Sri Lanka and hopefully its get washed out or maybe partially washed out.
