Jawan has shown a fantastic hold on its second Friday with collections pretty similar to the Thursday at around 16-17 crore nett. It may even get to the same number as Thursday though its likely there will be drop in business in small centres and single screens.

The second Friday collections are among the highest of all time and it may well be in top five which is extraordinary for a film which has put such a huge score on the board so far. The total collections of the film will have be around 356-357 crore nett and its on course for the 500 crore nett mark though it must continue to sustain for another two weeks.

There have been drops on the weekdays which mainly because high collections in the South which does not hold as well as other circuits for Hindi films and generally the collections were at high levels. The second Friday has stabilised as the ticket rates go up which compensates for the lower footfalls and now for sure it will be a huge weekend and it will cruise past the 400 crore nett mark after its second weekend.

The collections across North and Central India have held well on the second Friday and  it could be that some of these circuits actually go a little higher on the second Friday as compared to the Thursday.
