Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya had a slow start which was pretty much expected and its about what happens over the next days and that crucial Monday. The film is in that Rom - Com zone which is finding it tough to get collections or at least not collections like they did before the pandemic.

The music of the film was a pretty good but does not have that one superhit song which can make a difference on the first day.  The mass centres were always going to be a tough ride with this sort of film and its about the bigger multiplexes and the urban youth.

The opening is much lower than a film like Jugjug Jeeyo which can be called a film in a similar zone with similar look and feel. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Diya can probably target a 5 crore nett plus number but a lot depends on how the collections go in the evening which can push teh film.

A Zara Hatke Zara Bachke went to 84 crore nett from this sort of start but the difference is that film did well in places like UP, MP, Rajasthan, Haryana etc and found a solid audience with the lower middle class but that will be much more difficult here. Here these circuits do not look like reaching the levels of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke though some of the bigger circuits maybe better. Films today have to reach this lower middle class to have a better chance at the box office.

A result for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya would be good for the industry as it finds it easier to make films in this zone rather than cater for the audiences in states like MP and Rajasthan but its a long road ahead for the film to get somewhere.
