Stree 2 created history by recording the highest second Saturday of all time as it just edged past the Animal number which was a little under 33 crore nett. The growth was huge for Stree 2 as collections went up 75-80% while for Animal the growth was only 45%.

This now takes the film to a huge 345 crore nett and the film could be flirting with the 400 crore nett mark post the Janmashtami holiday on Monday.  The collections may well ease after that but the film has more than enough time through September to go towards the 500 crore nett mark. 

The Saturday growth also means this pattern will be followed in the coming weeks also which was not there with Animal due to the Adult certification and collections at very high levels so weekend jumps were not as high as some of the other big films.  The collections of Stree 2 till date are as follows.
