Metro In Dino collected 15.75 crore nett over its first weekend thanks to good growth on Saturday and a good follow up on Sunday though the Sunday has seen all films jump well with even the hollywood releases showing good jumps for a Sunday. The film has done better in Mumbai, Mysore and West Bengal which is the opposite to Sitaare Zameen Par which is scoring better in North. Both films target the gentry audiences but seeing regional differences in terms of box office.

Metro In Dino is said to set in four metros Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Kolkata and it is Delhi which should have got more collections while the other three have done well.
