War 2 (Hindi) is showing some momentum on the second day as it heads for a 40 crore nett plus second day as those mass centres see much better traction and solid gains. It is a huge holiday for Independence Day so it is probably due to that but when a big film opens to so so collections there is always the fear that growth could be a bit of struggle.

The film going to be up in the 50% range which at least means a good number on the second day in Hindi though its likely to best day for the film as its a huge holiday. The Hindi version has suffered in Nizam / Andhra as its a very limited release due to the Telugu version and while other Hindi films have been dubbed in Telugu nothing has been released at this level.

The film has a shot at standing at 70 crore nett and a little more after two days which is still well below expectations but at least its going into the weekend with some momentum albeit holiday momentum. It is Janmashtami on Saturday so some mass pockets will perform better than a normal Saturday. It may not be worth much but its looking likely that the weekend (3 days) will be the highest for a Hrithik Roshan starrer. The Telugu version will see a huge drop but that was always going to happen.
