Dhurandhar 2 became the first film to cross 300 crore nett in Mumbai as it this mark in the seventh week and there is maybe a couple of crore to come. In 2014 PK hit the 100 crore nett mark and then Pushpa 2 smashed past 200 crore nett in 2024 and now three years later Dhurandhar 2 has gone to 300 crore nett plus..

The 300 crore nett mark did look likely as Dhurandhar had already grossed 239 crore nett so doing 25% better was pretty much on the cards. Films like Chhaava and Pushpa 2 have a heavy Maharashtra feel and saw outperformance in the circuit but this is not the case with Dhurandhar 2 or even Dhurandhar. The numbers are huge but there is no out performance in the circuit as it will be a 30% ratio which is the average. Pushpa 2 was 37% and Chhaava was 48%.

Dhurandhar doing 240 crore nett and Dhurandhar 2 doing 300 crore nett is good news for the Hindi film industry as it was South or a heavy Maharashtra touch which were generally getting the numbers but here are two films with heavy North flavour putting huge figures in the circuit..
