Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is the first release of this important summer period and has taken a dull start with the franchise factor not really working for the film. The film had a trailer which was not exciting and the music was not a huge hit either but the fact there was some music was a plus as it leads to audiences feeling entertainment in the film. The damage here was probably the talkie portions as they simply were not funny enough.

Another negative is despite the main lead character having UP / MP type of fee the film never gave that vibe. It attempted to look Hindi but the content seemed to be presented in an urban way. 

Pati Patni Aur Woh released in 2019 and did well opening at around 8 crore nett and doing 80 crore nett business but those were different times. the original Pati Patni Aur Woh released in 1978 and proved to be a huge HIT.  It looks a different story here for Pati Patni Aur Woh Do as the initial of the film is such that it has to show huge growth on Saturday which is a tough ask for a film of this zone. 

The opening day collections of the film should cross 3 crore nett but it maybe difficult to reach 4 crore nett and if it does not reach the 4 crore nett mark then it will mean less than 50% of the 2019 film. There was also another releases Aakhri Sawal but that registered hardly any collection 50 lakh may be the target on day one.
