Thugs Of Hindostan will wrap up at around 250 crore worldwide which is half the business it should have done as 500 crore worldwide should have been a done job. The film will finish more than 50 crore less than Race 3 which itself was an under performer.
Badhaai Ho is extraordinary worldwide as it becomes the second small medium film to cross 200 crore. The first film was Tanu Weds Manu Returns which did 243 crore. Badhaai Ho has no chance to beat that but it should comfortably go past 210 crore. Andhadhun will finish with around 111 crore worldwide which is also a big number for that film worldwide.
Sanju, Padmaavat and Race 3 are the only films to go over 300 crore this year and that is a poor return. The top fifteen films worldwide in 2018 are as follows.
