Mumbai Saga has surprisingly done well on Sunday as collections have shown a huge hump of around 50%. The collections of the film could top the 3.50 crore nett mark which would make it the highest single day post covid 19. This is surprising as many places are shut on Sunday.

The film was helped by the single screen performance as many collected as much on Sunday as Friday and Saturday. There has been solid growth at all mass centres across the country. Mumbai circuit will see collections over 1 crore nett for the first time post the pandemic.

Normally this Sunday growth would give the film a chance of good holds over the weekdays but the pandemic is causing bigger issues from Monday with random testing in Mumbai malls and further restrictions in other areas. The weekend of the film may be close to 9 crore nett which cant be called good but again considering the situation its not too bad with this Sunday growth making it a look much better.
