Honsla Rakh has rocked Chandigarh as it collects 36-37 lakhs nett apprx from the city despite capacity restrictions. The record was Carry On Jatta 2 with 38 lakhs nett but that was with full capacity allowed. The restrictions are somewhat compensated by more shows as there is less competition with no Hindi films.

Chandigarh is normally the biggest collector for the bigger Punjabi films but here it could be that Delhi city is the biggest contributor as the film has done fantastically well on a big release in the city.

This sort of number in Chandigarh indicates a 1.75-2 crore nett total in East Punjab on day one which would be huge but a lot depends on performance in smaller centres. A 2 crore nett plus number would be insane for the film. The top collections on opening day in Chandigarh are as follows.

2. Honsla Rakh - 36,50,000 apprx
