KGF 2 (hindi) had an extraordinary fourth weekend as collections showed only a 25% fall from last weekend and it collected around 14.50 crore nett. The film also made it past the 400 crore nett mark over the weekend and the total now stands at a huge 405.50 crore nett. 

The film remained pretty much unaffected by the release of Dr Strange and on Sunday was actually collecting as much or even a little more than that film in some mass centres. The numbers remain phenomenal across mass pockets and this is after taking a record start at the places.

The film is now going to the 425 crore nett mark and is easily the biggest BLOCKBUSTER of 2022 and is setting sort of benchmark that will be very difficult for any film in Hindi to beat in 2022. KGF 2 is the highest grossing film of all time in Bihar, Odisha and Assam and will be second to Bahubali - The Conclusion in all the other circuits except East Punjab where it will probably finsih third behind Bahubali - The Conclusiona nd Dangal. The film will also hit the 50 crore nett benchmark in Gujarat / Saurashtra becoming the second film to do so after Bahubali - The Conclusion.

There was huge competition this week with Dr Strange but it has hardly affected KGF 2 as mass markets are so strong. The states are doing remarkable business and going forward the films have to score in the like of Gujarat, UP, MP, etc as without it box office numbers are hard to come by going by the trend of the last six months..
