Awaarapan 2 continues with strong advances and now has the potential to go comfortably over 15 crore nett on the first day. The comparable for the film is Tere Ishq Mein released late last year and advances are around 15% better with one day to go and Tere Ishq Mein had opened to just a little under 15 crore nett.

On the other side films like Welcome to the Jungle and Total Dhamaal had advances which were one third of Awaarapan 2 but also opened in that 15 crore nett range and on that this should go much much higher but advances are about urgency and obviously there is more for Awaarapan 2 than those films but in current the difference maybe less than in advances. 

If we go by the national chains then Awaarapan 2 could actually hit 1 lakh by end of business before release which actually suggest a 20 crore nett plus number in the way box office should work for this film but its also about current matching or bettering the advance. A double digit start would have been more than good enough for this film but it will now get much more than that and on this alone should emerge a success at the very least.

Batwara 1947 has poor advances and needs some momentum and there should be some on the last day of advance but the bigger test is the first day and that is where it needs to get audience on side and a push in collections. The subject is dry for the youth and on top there is lack of action and music (totally opposite of Awaarapan 2) but if reports there it can get the older audience on side over the weekend but the reach of last few Sunny Deol starrers is missing here in terms of the mass audience.
