Drishyam 2 has emerged a BLOCKBUSTER as it collects around 4-4.25 cr nett on its third Friday which is an excellent collection for the third Friday, not just post pandemic but this is excellent even if we count pre pandemic.

The collections are only behind KGF 2 and RRR and in the same range as The Kashmir Files on the third post pandemic and beats every other film. We are not counting Brahmastra here as it was cinema day for that film and because of that it racked up higher numbers but for the weekend Drishyam 2 is likely to do better than Brahmastra.

The third Friday confirms its expected BLOCKBUSTER status and now the target has to be Brahamstra to become the highest grossing Hindi film post pandemic with organic collections. 

The new release of the week An Action Hero could not do much as it collected 1.25 crore nett as per early estimates. The hope was to get around the Anek number of 1.71 crore nett but the film could not really pick up much
