Pathaan continues to hold up very well at the box office as it collected around 8 crore nett to take its second week total to 71 crore nett. The drop is 40% but this is mainly due to a huge reduction in ticket rates which are now normal weekday rates. The footfalls in some of the multiplexes which saw this reduction are actually better than Friday. These regular prices may enable weekdays to hold better as compared to last week.

The overall total for the film is almost 419 crore nett and it will become the second highest grossing film in India on Wednesday as it crosses the numbers of KGF 2. The second week number is looking at around 88-90 crore nett which will also be better than KGF 2 though not The Kashmir Files but its best to keep that film out as collections did not come like a regular film.

The film needs another 90 crore nett apprx to become the highest nett grosser in Hindi cinema so there is a long way to go and the next two weekends will tell if it can get there. It has practically smashed all the records in the book and its just this one which remains.
