Adipurush has taken a big hit on Monday as collections are looking to be down 75% and in the 8-9 crore nett range. This was pretty much on the cards when Sunday failed to show growth and whatever growth came in the core Hindi belts was minimal except places which got hit by bad weather on Saturday. 

The drops on Monday are across the board be it the metros or the smaller centres. If it manages a little better business in pockets  it will basically down to the fact that those pockets are generally stronger on Monday. The four day business of the film will will be 113 crore nett which is a good number but there is nowhere to go with this drop.

The rejection of the film is there as far as the Hindi version goes but the results commercially wont be as bad compared to this outright rejection. This is mainly down to the big weekend in Hindi and 40-45% of the recovery coming from South be it theatrical, digital or satellite.  

The flak which started as soon as the film started was insane and it is actually lucky to get the weekend in as it could easily have been a film which slided down on Saturday and further on Sunday. Looking at this huge Monday drop the slide can continue over the rest of the week.
