Animal is looking to beat the opening numbers of Jawan in Telugu and it may do comfortably. The advances are yet to open in India but they have been open for sometime in US and UK and the response for a Hindi dubbed film in Telugu is outstanding. Normally there no advances for a Telugu version of a Hindi film and here its the Telugu version that is making advances look decent in US and UK.

There are key cinemas in both countries where advances are better in Telugu and this is obviously down to the director Sandeep Reddy Wanga who has a following with the Telugu audience. The film being an original film rather than some remake will also be helping. The advance trend in US and UK should covert in Nizam / Andhra and first day total of 4.72 crore nett of Jawan (Telugu) in Nizam / Andhra should be surpassed by Animal. it will be no surprise if the number is beaten by a margin.

There could be other South languages which also see a response but at the end of the day it boils down to the Hindi version. The potential is huge as it looks that testosterone heavy film with the hero presented as a hero should be so the first battle is won there as far as the male mass audience is concerned.. Irrespective of where the film goes more of this type of cinema is needed as action films need a huge spend which limits these but here the way violence, anger and intensity is depicted it gives it that feel of an action film. This was done many times in 70's, 80's and 90's but has gone missing over the last decade or two.

The film should be looking to surpass the numbers of Brahmastra in most circuits and the Hindi mass circuits should actually be beating Brahmastra though there seems a bit of  English language in the film which can hurt in pockets.  After Tiger 3 seeing only good to decent results the need of the hour is Animal to go through and sustain at the box office especially in Hindi.
