Kalki 2898 AD is looking at superb second day as collections come in pretty much around the first day which is going to set up the film very well. Normally there is a drop of 15-20% on the second day when a film releases on Thursday and here its going to flat. Maybe a minor drop or maybe minor gains.

The second day is going to be around the 21 crore nett mark and will take the film to 42 crore nett and it means a 100 crore nett four day weekend will be there for the film although there is a huge match on Saturday which could curtail growth on Saturday but then it should recover some of this on Sunday. The hold on day two can also be because day one was hurt by the cricket match in the evening so it is covering that.

Either way even if the film is covering the first day shortfall it means reports are generally on the plus side as if they were not it woudl not be covering the lost ground on the second day. The first day saw a lesser performance in Maharashtra and this looks like putting up growth on the second day. 

No doubt there will be drops on day two in the strong performers like Bihar, Odisha and Rajasthan  but on Sunday these will be doing very good business and no doubt it will be the biggest Sunday of the year setting up the film for its weekdays.
