Stree 2 has been a box office juggernaut since release on Independence Day and is now aiming to become the highest Hindi grosser of all time. There is a still a long way to go but things are falling in place for the film. The film is getting and open run for six weeks and there seems to be a possibility of a cinema day on 20th Sept which will push the odds in the favour of Stree 2 to get over the 555 crore nett mark as cinema day will give it a considerable boost.

Stree 2 stands at 477.79 crore nett apprx after its third weekend while Jawan (Hindi) was at 482.37 crore nett after its third weeeknd so its a difference of just 5 crore nett and this will be less by the end of the week and both films could be neck to neck. On this difference and the way Stree 2 is trending you would expect it to crusie past the Jawan (Hindi) total but its not so clear cut as Jawan (hindi) held up very strongly in week four and then on sixth Friday there was cinema day.

Now with Stree 2 likely to have cinema day on the same day as Jawan (Hindi) had (sixth friday) it tips the scales towards Stree 2 and its mainly about matching the fourth week business of Jawan (hindi). Jawan (hindi) holds the record for the highest fourth week of all time and Stree 2 either needs to break this record or be very close to it. The fourth Friday is now the next test for Stree 2 in the race to become highest Hindi grosser. The comparison between Jawan (Hindi) and Stree 2 is as follows.
