Kesari Chapter 2 had a fair first week of 45 crore nett plus with the positive being collections holding up well over the weekdays. It may not look like this but if we take real value collections then the Mon - Thu period has held in the range of 3.50 - 3.75 crore nett with Friday (day1) probably being around 5 crore nett if we take out the holiday.

The first week numbers are on the lower side for the film but the trend gives hope that it can make up some ground from here on and come with a decent final total. There is some appreciattion in the bigger centres as NCR, Bangalore and Mumbai city do well and these are sure to see strong holds. The way the film is  going in Mysore it may be among the top 3-4 films of Akshay Kumar.

The film will get benefit of the buy one get one free offer in many areas on Friday though the better collecting areas do not have the offer which will ensure growth on Friday as compared to Thursday.  The presence of Akshay Kumar means the film has expectations and these numbers are not up to those expectations but those expectations come because of the stardom but if we look at recent films in this zone then this film has done far better. The seven day numbers of Kesari Chapter 2 are as follows.

Friday - 7,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 10,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 11,50,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 4,85,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 3,65,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 45,35,00,000 apprx
