Spiderman Brand New Day will turn out to be a BLOCKBUSTER film as expected as the second day sees a good hold. The first day collected around 60 crore nett and the second day will be around 50 crore nett and there is the weekend to come and with the film only falling 15% on Friday it means the best days are likely to be Saturday and Sunday.

The film already has 110 crore nett up on the board and the weekend is sure to be above 225 crore nett and could even go to 250 crore nett depending on the growth on Saturday. The Hindi circuits are yet to challenge the numbers of Avenger Endgame but should happen on Saturday and Sunday.

Its been a huge month Hollywood not just in India but across the world as Spiderman Brand New Day comes just after another box office BLOCKBUSTER Odyssey. This film has seen servers crash overseas due to the public craze to watch the best premium format cinemas. In India the film has done 135 crore nett business so far and despite the release of Spiderman it still holds steady as the week on week drop may be just 50% even with Spiderman. The film could go towards that 175 crore nett mark.

Spiderman is on a different level and is pretty much on course to become the biggest Hollywood film ever in India in terms of collections but the target is probably to become the first Hollywood film to hit 500 crore nett. Avatar - The Way Of Water did almost 400 crore nett and that does not look much of a target for Spiderman after this day two hold.
