Awaarapan 2 had a very good Tuesday collecting almost 10 crore nett which takes the film over the 100 nett mark. This is a first for Vishesh Films though films like Raaz (2002) and Aashiqui 2 (2013) are bigger HITS. The Raaz franchise did not do well in its last installment but its obvious that there has to be another Raaz film looking at the box office scenario today.

The film is also the first 100 crore nett film for Emraan Hashmi and here will also be the third biggest HIT after The Dirty Picture and Raaz 3. The film will see a drop today as is the norm on Wednesday now and then that Friday hold will be crucial in terms of the lifetime business. It will need to be around 5 crore nett on Friday to ensure that it goes over 150 crore nett as it will be shortened second week and contributions are likely to be limited after this. The collections of Awarapan 2 till date are as follows.

Batwara 1947 collected 2 crore nett on Tuesday which was a healthy gain from the previous day but it hardly matters as the weekend figures were just not good enough and Monday just rubber stamped its fate.
