Super Singh (Punjabi) has held well in its second week with collections of 2.50 crore nett in india. The first week was 9.25 crore nett which is actually a 73% drop but this does not tell the full story. The film was hugely affected by the release of Tubelight but it started making ground again in the week as its Friday in week two was 27 lakhs nett while the Thursday in week two was 26 lakhs nett which is practically the same when normally a 50% difference is assured for most films. The occupancy in most multiplexes was similar to week one but it just never had the screenings to put up bigger week two numbers. The collections of Super Singh (Punjabi) till date are as follows.

Week One - 9,25,00,000

Week Two - 2,50,00,000

TOTAL - 11,75,00,000

The third week may well be similar to the second week which will make it one of the biggest third weeks in the history of Punjabi cinema. The film lost some initial business due to similarities to the Hindi film The Flying Jatt but the film has worked well with the audience which the third week figures will show. The film may get into the top five Punjabi films of all time. Had this come before The Flying Jatt it would probably be in the top three.
