Drishyam 3 is looking at the second highest opening day in history for a Hindi film as it may collect around 65 crore nett. The film is sure to get over 60 crore nett and its just about whether the film can get to 65 crore nett. It will not reach the Dhurandhar 2 day one figure but it can beat the 63 crore nett odd of Jawan (2023).

The film could have been closer of Dhurandhar 2 but the ATP (Average Ticket Price) is coming out lower and the admits will be much closer to Dhurandhar 2 than the collections. Its a insane result for the film and shows how far the franchise factor has come as without initial elements a film has well over the 50 crore nett barrier and is challenging and beating films which had production costs which were five or six times more.

The film is being driven by Maharashtra which is out of this world and looks likely to surpass the Pushpa 2 collections though its wait and watch for Mumbai circuit as though Gujarat is excellent its a little less than other places comparatively.  The franchise is bigger in Maharashtra due to the regional feel of the film but collections are oustanding all over the country with NCR belt also recording extraordinary collections. On these type of days there is a capacity issue in the NCR area as its been practically choc a block since the afternoon.

The job is done for this film on day one as can practically be called a BLOCKBUSTER already as the weekend itself will cross 175 crore nett which on the production cost makes it a lottery. The film is going to be biggest film of the franchise and possibly the biggest HIT (not grosser as thats pretty much locked) in the career of Ajay Devgn.
