Kalki 2898 AD may set an ALL TIME RECORD and record the highest opening day ever seen in Indian cinema. So far only two films KGF 2 and RRR have seen an opening day of over 100 crore nett and Kalki 2898 AD is very much on course to do that with huge collections in Nizam /Andhra and very good numbers in Karnataka and Hindi.

Kalki 2898 AD will be the third film to hit the 100 crore nett mark and the highest total ever is 105 crore nett plus of KGF 2 which was driven hugely by the Hindi version which was more than 50% of the total collection. Here with Kalki 2 the Hindi ratio will be 25% on best case but the film is a Telugu film and that market is running riot and is at record or near record levels, The Hyderabad (Nizam) area is almost certain to be the highest ever.

The collections of the film look lesser than KGF 2 and RRR in Tamil Nadu And Kerala so its going to be mainly how far Nizam / Andhra and the Hindi version take it. The last Prabhas film Salaar had done around 80 crore nett all India while the highest Hindi film ever is Jawan with almost 72 crore nett. 

If three day figures are more interesting of these Telugu multi language films as compared to Hindi films due to the release structure in Nizam / Andhra on the first day where the market is flooded with showcasing due to the craze of the star and then eased post day one.
