Kalki 2898 AD collected a huge 286 crore across India with all areas eventually doing well by Sunday after a lesser start at places. The business of the film is around 50 crore ahead of Salaar with the main difference coming in Hindi which is around 40 crore nett higher itself.

 

 

The home market Nizam Andhra saw paractically ditto collections compared to Salaar with both films getting to a little over 125 crore nett. Both films had a four day weekend with Kalki 2898 AD on Thu - Sun and Salaar was Fri - Wed. The film will start comfortably leading Salaar post the weekend as the Hindi version will be far ahead and Tamil Nadu also looks like doing far better.

 

 

The film collected around $16.75 million in overseas which gives the film a worldwide gross of 475 crore apprx over its extended four day weekend. In Overseas it crossed Salaar in the first four days itself. The Hindi version of the film itself was around $3 million which is very good.  Salaar finished with almost 600 crore worldwide which was the second best number for a South film in 2023 after Jailor finishing neck to neck with another Tamil film Leo. 

 

 

Kalki 2898 AD will go well beyond these films due to the Hindi version and could even go further than what is expected if Tamil Nadu can break out a little bit. The all India daily business of Kalki 2898AD is as follows. The Hindi version includes collections from the South.
