Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Ulajh have taken very dull openings especially the former as it has a star like Ajay Devgn. Ulajh nothing much is expected anyway. Its not much was expected from Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha but when you have a presence of a star the hope is always that it can do better though post pandemic star value is not counting for much when there is limited interest in a film.

The opening of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is the worst for an Ajay Devgn film for a long long time but today the industry is pretty immune and despite the film may only get around 2 crore nett with the buy one get free offer there is no shock and its all taken in stride.

It is hard to make out what zone this film belongs to and eventually has nothing for youth or mass and therefore the collections reflect this. The film maybe can be called a mature love story or some sort of social drama but the problem is it looks unbelievable dry.

Ulajh is one of those films which is probably for home viewing but today the streamers want theatrical release so these films come and test the box office waters. Deadpool and Wolverine saw big drops on the weekdays but is still easily the top film at the box office and could even collect as much as Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Ulajh combined despite not finding much appreciation in India.
