Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has taken a so so opening in the morning and it depends on how the movement is from here as if it comes out with a figures which is around 8 crore nett it will be decent collection while a 7 crore nett figure will be on the lower side meaning more ground needed to make up on Saturday.

There are not much expectations as far as initial goes from this genre. Although the film is actually a comedy it plays out like a rom com through the units and the music visuals and its been a struggle for the genre to open. The film has decent music but does not have that HIT song to push the collections 30-40% higher.

The UK setting to the film also gives it an more urban feel but as far as economics go that is a plus of the film due to a big rebate which comes which makes recovery easier. If we take fair value it will be opening better than Varun Dhawan's last solo film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (national holiday opening day) and if it gets 8 crore then it will be considerably better but the story is the same as its about trajectory.

There was another release this week with Bandar but as soon as the directors name comes you know there is not much hope from the film. These makers tend to talk a lot especially about other films and have big mouths but content is always so bad and Bandar is unlikley to cahnge this status quo of bad content unless a miracle happen
