Satyameva Jayate 2 had a low start in the 15-20% range though collections at single screens in places like CP Berar, Bihar and Nizam / Andhra were better. The problem is the dull start at multiplexes across India.

The bigger national chains were always likely not to do much with this type of film especially at present ticket rates which are considerably higher then pre pandemic times in these cinemas. This is fine for a Sooryavanshi but other films will find it much harder. The local and smaller multiplex chains should have done better and these have to improve if the film is to go anywhere. 

The collections are better in pockets but the contributions in these areas are minimal. A Bihar might just hit 20 lakh which is 65% less than Sooryavanshi on a national holiday and considering that, its a good collection but Bihar contribution is very less in the overall all India picture.

The main contributors to business are North (Delhi / UP and East Punab) and West (Maharashtra and Gujarat) and here its a very weak start in the former while the latter is a little better but still pretty dull. The morning shows in Gujarat / Saurashtra see Sooryavanshi giving Satyameva Jayate 2 competition though hopefully by evening Satyameva Jayate 2 will come out head. Actually it has to come out ahead because if this area does not perform then the film have major issues.

A Thursday release which was there to avoid an outright clash and get an extra day in before the weekdays may also be the reason for the start as awareness of Thursday release can be less especially if no big holiday. But this can only be known tomorrow and what sort of momentum do the  collections of Anitim - The Final Truth get.
