Jayeshbhai Jordaar has taken a poor start which has become the story week in week out as this delayed pre pandemic content makes its way to the cinemas when the audience has little appetite for it. The opening of Jayeshbhai Jordaar is pretty much on the lines of Runway and Jersey so it becomes about that Saturday growth.

The problem here is that there will be Saturday growth but its a low starting point and can the sort of growth come that came before the pandemic and can the film consolidate that growth on Sunday. Runway and Jersey failed to do this despite Saturday going up well and it remains to be seen how Jayeshbhai Jordaar goes.

The Punjabi film Saunkan Saunkne has taken a very good opening in Punjab and pretty good in Delhi city. The opening in Punjab is the highest post the pandemic at the smaller centres but at the bigger multiplexes it is less than Honsla Rakh which will probably keep the East Punjab number lower than Honsla Rakh. In Delhi it is well short of Honsla Rakh as that film broke all records there.

The overall opening of the film should be the second best post the pandemic after the pandemic and it has  a chance of hitting that 2 crore nett mark though a more realistic total maybe 1.75 crore nett which is still fantastic.
