Rashtra Kavach Om had a low first day collecting around 1.30-1.40 crore nett though mass pockets did fair business in parts. The film needed higher as these films dont tend to show a strong trajectory so the opening day becomes even more important.

Still the action factor has helped the film in certain pockets like UP and Bihar. The collections in Bihar were around 9 lakhs nett while UP state will have contributed around 20 lakhs plus nett (not including Noida and Ghaziabad) to the Delhi / UP total of around 35 lakhs. The singles in West Bengal and Odisha are also likely to show better collections.

This is all comparative but the film has managed to get some collections at places though the all India figure does not reflect that as its lower priced cinemas where better collections have come. The opening day footfalls could be around 1 lakh which is more than a film like Anek. The collections are also more than double Dhaakad which was a similar film but with a much higher budget. 

Rocketry is a bilingual film made in the Tamil film industry and has collected around 65 lakhs nett on day one. The film is probably more for the Tamil Nadu but the collections coming from Chennai there do not suggest it has done much there also. It could be that the Hindi version has collected more unless it has collected well outside Chennain in Tamil Nadu.

The film has got a better opening than bigger Tamil films like Valimai, Beast and Vikram but those were all dubbed and pretty awful openings so its not saying much.
