Pathaan will put up 5.6-5.65 lakh admits at the national multiplex chains by the end of its advance which is the second highest number of admits ever recorded in these three multiplex chains (PVR, Inox, Cinepolis) behind Bahubali - The Conclusion.

But these admits do not tell the whole story as in terms of collections it was out in front of all the releases and that is what matters most. Take out Bahubali - The Conclusion and practically all the other films were releasing on a holiday which is not the case for Pathaan which has simply torn the advance record books up in terms of collections 

The advance for the weekend has gone well over 50 crore nett also setting an all time record. The opening day also should be a record though that remains to be seen. If it was a holiday then we would have said it WILL be a record but lets see how big the film goes as industry gets big jolt of confidence which was much needed. The top ten advances of all time at the national chains in terms of admits are as follows.

1. Baahubali - The Conclusion (Hindi) - 6,50,000

2. Pathaan 5,60,000 expected

3. KGF2 (Hindi) 5,05,000

4. War - 4,06,000

5. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo - 3,52,000

6. Thugs Of Hindostan - 3,46,000 

7. Bharat 3.17,000

8.Sultan 3,10,000

9. Brahmastra - 3,04,000

10. Dangal - 3,01,000
