Chandu Champion showed good growth of 80% on its second Saturday as the film went over 40 crore nett and took its total to 41 crore nett. The collections remain low and the second week will be curtailed by the release of Kalki 2898 AD on Thursday.

The drop in the second week is looking at around 50% which is actually not that bad but the problem is the first week itself is low so here the drop has to be much less than 50% and it had to work like a content films and 20-30% drop on the week. The film is now behind Munjya across the country except Delhi / Punjab though it is still poor here and Mysore circuit which can be called so so. Ishq Vishq Rebound collected 1 crore nett on the first day which has mainly come because of some decent music as film does not look much. Ishq Vishq was released in 2003 and fared decently but its not a film that probably have very little brand value today. The film has nowhere to go as there is Kalki 2898 next week but it has managed some footfalls on day one.
