Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) has ended with a very good advance which is more than Fighter in terms of tickets sold while the collections are pretty similar to Fighter as that film had higher pricing. This is for the first day while the weekend advance is better for Fighter as it had a huge holiday on day two. 

The national chains will settle at around 1.25 lakh which is the tenth best total post pandemic and better than the likes of RRR (Hindi) and Salaar (Hindi) which are probably the best comparatives. There is not much doubt the film is going to set records for 2024 in practically all the Hindi circuits but there will be minimal business coming from South and if it does not set the highest Hindi opening day number of 2024 then it will be down to that and of course there is the big match in the late evening which will slow the film down. At the moment the highest day one looks on as mass circuits advance is far better than Fighter and this can gain further momentum on day of release

It is the first time that Hindi mass circuits like CPCI, Bihar, Rajasthan, Odisha, etc are going to see high numbers in 2024 as its been a huge struggle the last six months. The film is putting up crazy numbers in the Telugu version as Book My Show sales records higher sales in Telugu as compared to the Telugu version of RRR which is the biggest opener ever in Telugu. Kalki 2898 AD is going to record a huge number in all versions across the country and could even be the highest ever.. 

The top sales at the national chains for 2024 remains Mr And Mrs Mahi due to cinema day while Fighter is best on a normal day. The top advances post pandemic at the national chains in terms of admits in 2023/2024 are as follows.
