Bad Newz collected a fair 13.50 crore nett in week two which takes the two week total of the film to 56 crore nett. The drop in week two is 68% and although this is on the higher side it is still okay for this film as it got an opening weekend in. If the film had a 20-25 crore nett first weekend and trended like this it would have been a goner.

The film is benefitting from the BOGO offer on weekdays but even without that the fate of  the film would be the same just business would be a little lower. This week the film faces competition from two releases and although neither has opened they have given the holdovers a hit in terms of showcasing.

The film continues to put up good numbers in NCR and East Punjab. The latter stands at 8 crore nett in two weeks which is already more than Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and it remains to be seen if it can reach the 9.50 crore nett of Crew. The collections of Bad Newz till date are as follows.

Deadpool and Wolverine did well in its first week collecting 86 crore nett though saw dropping collections over the weekdays. It still remains the top film this week and should do well on Saturday and Sunday and eventually comfortably go over the 110 crore nett mark, maybe even close to 120 crore nett.
