Stree 2 is looking to set the box office on fire with huge momentum on the final day as it sells around 3.8 lakhs nett tickets at the national chains. the sales here on teh final day are a crazy 1.75 lakh apprx. the advance on the opening day is around 17 crore nett apprx with the national chains already having 9 crore nett up on the board.
These advances are the 7th highest ever at the national chains in terms of tickets sold and mainly behind some huge films. The paid previews are also crazy with the colelctions looking to be around 8 crore nett. The film will be targettimg the 40 crore nett mark on day one. The multiplexes will be huge across the country and if it falls under 40 crore nett it will probably be because the single screen business is less than some of the bigger films.
It hardly matters as whether it goes a couple of crore above 40 crore nett or a couple of crore less it is a phenomenal opening day response for a film of this size. If this can really go on it will also show the potential of the horror comedy zone which has always been a solid genre as it allows movies to go rural but it has never been a genre which has been in the forefront but big box office can change all that. The top advances of all time at the national chains in terms of admits are as follows.
