Stree 2 continues to break records and is heading to become the highest grossing Hindi film ever. The film has had a phenomenal run since release and is practically neck to neck with Jawan (Hindi) after the fourth weekend. It is well ahead of Jawan in the core Hindi markets of Delhi/ UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan, CP Berar, CI, Bihar and Gujarat. The latter is enough to take Mumbai circuit ahead even though Maharashtra, North Karnataka and Goa are slightly less.

Stree 2 stands at 521.76 crore nett apprx after its fourth weekend while Jawan (Hindi) was at 523.28 crore nett after its fourth weeeknd so the gap now is just 1.50 crore nett. The gap was 39.28 crore nett at the end of the first week and this was with Stree 2 having and 8 crore nett plus total from paid previews which Jawan did not have but the trend of Stree 2 has been extraordinary with a high level of collections. The gap is likely to stay in this 1.50 crore nett range at the end of the week as Jawan had a holiday on Monday and had a strong collection on that day.

It is the fifth week where Stree 2 will probably catch up or go ahead of Jawan (Hindi) but even that it becomes about cinema day on the 20th as it stays like for like because Jawan had cinema day on the same day otherwise Stree 2 was likely to fall behind again at the start of week six. it will probably be that sixth Friday that will ensure Stree 2 becomes the highest Hindi grosser ever.
