Ramayana has done well on its second day as it looks to finish at around 33-34 crore nett in its Hindi version which will be a drop in the 20-25% range from the first day. There was always going to be a drop and it actually looked a bigger drop in the morning but it made some ground up through they day. This will now see the film standing at 66 crore nett plus after two days apprx.

If the film can now collect the same over the next two days as Diwali gets closer it would be a great result but it wont be easy with pre Diwali festivities the order of the day. The first target is to get some growth on Saturday and if it was a normal week with a Thursday release it would be certain to come back to the first day number but with this Diwali scenario it becomes a task.

The drops on day two are all over be it the weaker circuits or the better circuits. The regional versions will be also see drops which will be bigger than the Hindi version but that is expected. It will be rough ride over the next two days because if Saturday does not close to day one then its likely that Sunday will be the lowest day which again is no surprise but lwo numebsr shake the industry. Its all about the Monday and hopefully when this wider audience comes out they take a liking to the film and there will be no looking back.

The film has done extremely well in Overseas as the final collections will settle around $5.25 million but these collections are over two days. It is a record for Oversaes if taken at face value but as far as like for like goes it is NOT a record and Pathaan (2023) remains the biggest ever opener in Overseas. The film did extremely well in all markets with the exception of Gulf which was expected to be lower but its comes out even lower then expectations.
