The advances of Raid 2 which will have a Thursday release opened on Sunday and the film has seen a good advance with almost 8k tickets sold at the national chains. The response is there which means its likely these advances should at least cross 1 lk by Wednesday evening and it could even more depending on the pace on Wednesday. This will be enough for the film to start well and more encouraging signs for the box office after Jaat and Kesari Chapter 2.

Raid 2 is a sequel top the 2018 film Raid which did well and was a liked film and Raid 2 is getting benefit of that and at the moment this sequel factor is proving to be very beneficial as the majority of sequels score at the box office. 

Raid 2 has a Thursday release due to a holiday May Day and Maharashtra Day so the biggest benefit will come in Maharashtra. Its not much of a holiday in the mass pockets of UP, Bihar, MP, Gujarat etc but collections should get a good boost in places like Mumbai, Bengal and Karnataka and other a few other places.

Now its about the advance momentum keeping pace and pushing up on the final day. Anything over a 1 lakh at these chains is a good result and Raid 2 should be on course for that from here.
